Poplar carving filled with resin clay formations and minerals mounted on steel and granite base. Painted with acrylic and oils.
 
Influenced by the exploration of TAG (Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia) limestone cave region, this piece express the depth and time spent in these passageways. As you go deeper into the cave formation change from curvy to geometric, as well as the colors found in the minerals. 
With this piece I present the desire to explore and loose sense of time, just how one can lose sense of time in a cave.
